A delightful affair - I started with onion soup that was done to perfection, the cheese was crisp and the broth wonderful. I also got an artichoke appetizer which was shared at the table. The kitchen was quick and the service was personable. We had duel servers John and James who were right on top of things. The dinners were good and the deserts even better.... The good is excellent - the drinks above average (id experiment a bit off the menu) and the servers were on top of things. This was a great choice and we will be back....

I've made it a point to come here each time I'm in Scottsdale, must mean its good right?! Delicious cocktails and great apps and entrees. Nice open restaurant with outdoor patio and full bar. American food with a variety modern options. Took many pics below since I reserved this for a work dinner. Highly recommend the brussels, crab cakes, any or salads are good as well. From seafood to pasta, meat dishes, poke - you'll see quite the variety and the menu options will change every few mons or so.

Twisted Grove Parlor & Bar Mother's Day Lunch Fresh Sourdough Bread was pretty good, the crust was very hard, but the inside was very good. Ceasar Salad was good to average, nothing to wow me. Collins Bro's Prime Rib in a "Magic Rub" with Loaded Smashed Potatoes, Creamy Horse Radish and Au Jus served medium rare to medium. Prime Rib was very good and the Loaded Smashed Potatoes were a nice surprise. Very much enjoyed this combination together. Butterscotch Pecan Pie was really delicious, very much enjoyed every bite.

My mom and I stumbled upon this place on a recent visit to Scottsdale. What a lovely surprise! The restaurant itself has a great vibe, very cool modern interior and cute patio for dining. Be sure to check out the cool ceiling and chandelier in the entry way. We sat outside and it was perfect. I went with the the crab cake salad and my mom got a burger. The food is good, but a bit pricey in my opinion. I believe my crab cake and salad was $20. My mom also got a lemonade and said it was wayyyy too sweet--this says a lot coming from a woman who absolutely loves sugar. Our waitress was really sweet but never checked on us once we got our food. Overall we had a great time and I'd in the area I would definitely be down to go back!

I would give Twisted a 4.5, but rounded up instead of down. This is a really nice restaurant for 2 or 4 people or a large group. I say that because the booths make for a very nice secluded feel. Overall it has a unique upscale feel to it (see pics below). We started with the Charred Brussel Sprouts appetizer. It is a must do! Everyone LOVED it, including our two twenty something sons. The bacon is a nice touch : ) Had the Rotisserie Chicken for my main course. The chicken was nicely spiced and cooked to perfection. The smashed potatoes were the perfect complement. Don't sleep on dessert--the Tres Leches Cake was outstanding! Twisted is a very solid option in the crowded field of hip Phoenix area restaurants.

Twisted Grove was bit dark inside so we sat in their patio. Beautiful and cozy in the perfect Arizona winter weather. Service was excellent and food was delicious. Their crab cake and greens was perfect for me. It had large chunks of crab meat and paired perfectly with arugula avocado salad. Their classic French dip was perfect for hubby. It was loaded with tender meat and came with fries. Church Music was name of the beer hubby tried. He liked it because it was light and had no after taste. Highly recommend.

A highlight during my Phoenix, AZ trip Spacious both inside and outdoor seating. We chose the outdoor seating Something for everyone here. I was thrilled to share my short rib with gnocchi dish, deceptively doesn't look like much but it turned out to be so much food! We ordered an extra Parmesan garlic truffle fries thinking our gnocchi wasn't enough but there was plenty- everyone I brought helped us finish them. Stringy but crispy, really ideal French fries Also the coffees were great! Really exceptional experience for us out of towers; thank you Twisted Grove!

While in town for a friend's wedding, I checked to see what was near our resort and opted for the Twisted Grove & Parlor. We wanted to sit outside, but on a Friday night with no reservation, that wasn't an option. No biggie, I love the bar and that is where we parked ourselves! Hubby ordered the drink of the month, which had tea-infused vodka and honey ... it was fantastic! I was in a chill sort of mood so I opted for a glass of the Quilt Cabernet Sauvignon, which hit the spot. For our meals, I had the French Dip, served on a crispy baguette with a delightful horseradish aioli. The husband ordered the Rotisserie Chicken BLT, served on a brioche bun with a spicy tomato jam, yummy bacon, and cheese. We ended up splitting each sandwich so we could both have the best of both worlds! The atmosphere is fantastic, and our bartender, Naomi was wonderful! If ever in the area again, this is a must stop!

We came here for a dinner with my friends for a retreat we had that weekend. This is a great place for large groups and they have a few private rooms and big tables. There was nine of us. We came here during their restaurant week, so the restaurant was pretty busy and reservations are a must. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I ordered off the restaurant week menu and I wanted the crab cakes. They ended up running out and were able to swap out another menu item and still let me have the full three course menu. I started off with the Brussels without bacon and it was delicious. I liked the presentation too. I got the salmon as the swap for the crab cakes and the cauliflower was cooked in a delicious sauce. Finally for dessert, I had the chocolate moose cake and it was a great light flavorful dessert. I would recommend this restaurant for a big group or an intimate date night.

Twisted Grove is one of two restaurants in the same complex owned by the same chef. I spent a quick weekend here for the Daughtry concert and wanted to partake in local dining while in Scottsdale. I personally liked Grassroots restaurant more than Twisted Grove, but both had great menus worth exploring. We dined here on a Saturday night, and it was quite busy. I recommend making a reservation on weekends. One nice thing about this restaurant is there are some nooks and crannies and I like this better than one big open space. We were seated immediately, even with the crowd. The servers seemed to be fluttering around like crazy though, and because we didn't order a drink right away, we had to wait a bit for our server to return, which was a bummer. The area we were seated in was quite dark, so the phone flashlight came in handy. The one thing that bothered me about the lighting is that we even had a hard time seeing the food! We started with the roasted artichoke and Brussels. The artichoke was good, but the only edible part was the heart. The leaves were not cooked enough to be able to eat the meaty part. The lemon dip was fantastic and it took all my willpower to keep from eating it with a spoon. The Brussels sprouts were AH-mazing!! Tangy and bacony goodness. I had the Maryland style crab cakes. These were ok. They tasted like maybe the crab was teetering on getting old. I suppose I shouldn't expect Arizona to be a great place for crab though, so lesson learned. My sister had the Caesar salad with shrimp and said it was delicious. Overall a positive experience, but nothing to write home about.
